Happy National Cat Day!
As I went to write this post, I thought it would be great to take a picture of my cats. Of course… they received the memo and did not want to participate. Either they walked away or turned away and continued stunning. Go figure now that I’m typing one is purring at my feet and wants to be petted. Cats are interesting characters and do what they want. Maybe this is something we can learn from cats… do what we want! This is furthered by the following quotations:
“Dogs come when they’re called; cats take a message and get back to you later.” – Mary Bly
“As every cat owner knows, nobody owns a cat.” – Ellen Perry Berkeley
“As anyone who has ever been around a cat for any length of time well knows, cats have enormous patience with the limitations of the human mind.” – Cleveland Amory
“In the middle of a world that had always been a bit mad, the cat walks with confidence.” – Rosanne Amberson
So, let’s get out there, walk with confidence, and do stuff on your own terms.
Tomorrow: Mischief Night
