Today is National Jewel Day.

The idea of the day is to give.  If you cannot offer jewelry offer something you can give.  Everyone can afford a hug.

Old Rock Day.

Bling it out!

Today is Old Rock Day.

According to holidayinsights.com, “By definition, fossils are old rocks. Jewelry stones are old rocks. And, coal is an old rock, too. You can celebrate any or all of these old rocks today. ”

I also thought The Ultimate holiday Site by Hallmark had some interesting things t add, “Oh man, the rocks on Canada’s Baffin Island are really old. / ‘How old are they?’ / They’re so old that dinosaurs once used them as marbles. No, but seriously these rocks have been around for 4.5 billion years, back when the earth was a fiery magma ball. Let’s celebrate the old.  AND the new.  As the old brings forth the new.  Either way… let’s celebrate.  Everyday is a holiday!
