Today is Bubble Gum Day!
What’s your flavor? How long does it last? Each piece is unique to each person.
However, this day has alternative priorities. Today was not created to celebrate gum per se, but to raise money. According to bubblegumday.com, “Bubble Gum Day offers schools a fun way to raise money, without kids having to sell stuff.”
BUT – I’m not in school AND I like gum, so I’m celebrating the gum and not raising any money (unless you feel motivated to send me some).
So, in order to celebrate gum, let’s get creative and look at this wonderful item for more than just chewing.
Here are 7, found at Yahoo! Voices.
#1 Make Chewed Bubble Gum Sculptures
#2 Use It For Catfish Bait
#3 Fill Cracks in Clay Flowerpots
#4 Improve Your Memory
#5 Secure Documents Together
#6 Recover Faster From Colon Resection Surgery
#7 Remove Light Scratches From a CD
I think I will stick to just chewing the gum.
What are you doing with your gum?
Chew on!
Tomorrow: National Stuffed Mushroom Day!
